Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in Wilmington wanted to do a service project to get kids buckled up.  OHS partnered with them to provide booster seats to limited income families in November of 2002.

Here is one happy recipient of a new booster seat!  The distribution was held at the Holloway Terrace Fire Co. near Wilmington.  Families were identified through the Delaware Prevention Network.

CPS Technician Jana Simpler explains to a parent how easy it is to use a booster seat.  OHS distributed 15 seats that night, and had already educated nearly 50 families through presentations in October and November.
